Sallyforthrecords heeft een aantal artiesten onder ‘contract’ die een duidelijke christelijke boodschap hebben en daarmee ook nog een groot niet christelijk publiek trekken. This Beautiful Mess is er een van. De vierkoppige band heeft onlangs haar derde cd uitgebracht en de kritieken waren lovend. Met “Temper The Wind To The Shorn Lamb” laat This Beautifull Mess trouwens ook zien dat ze tot de betere bands van Nederland horen. Vergelijkingen zijn er te maken met Radiohead, The Smiths, Coldplay maar denk ook aan 16 Horsepower. Frontmen is Arjen van Wijk die ondersteund door Lydia Wever, Abne Herrebout en Arjen van Wijk een elftal prachtige songs op papier heeft gezet. Soms melodieus dan weer energieke gitaarpop. Op het onlangs gehouden Noorderslagfestival waren ze één van de betere bands. De komende maanden krijg je alle gelegenheid om ze live te aanschouwen want ze ‘touren’ momenteel half Europa door.

Ze zijn  ook nog op peacedog te vinden ergens in Juni/july is dat dacht ik moet maar eens luisteren deze band zou ook gouwe zijn volgens kivive.

zo ik heb de Cd uiteindelijk en hij is echt zo goed lekker rustig en echt goed om van te genieten!! en het mooie is dat ze van de zomer ook op flevo staan!!
